Accounting Instructors' Report

Accounting Instructors’ Report is a refereed, on-line journal edited by Belverd E. Needles, Jr., Ph.D., CPA, of DePaul University, that seeks to :

  • Identify trends that impact accounting education and the beginning accounting course
  • Advance the teaching of accounting, especially in the beginning accounting course, at the college level
  • Provide a dissemination vehicle for information and research about teaching techniques and technology, student characteristics, and assessment in accounting education.

Submissions are encouraged and should be submitted by email to the editor (bneedles@needles-powers.com) using the following format:

  • Four to seven pages not including references and appendices, if any
  • Times New Roman 12-point type
  • Single-spaced and double-spaced between paragraphs
  • Paragraphs indented
  • Headings centered, bolded and in all caps
  • Sub-headings bolded and underscored, upper and lower case at left margin
  • Tables and charts centered in Times New Roman 10-point type
  • Title page included with the corresponding author's email address
  • Abstract required as first paragraph of text
